The Retail Drinks Industry Awards are the peak awards for Australia’s retail liquor industry, saluting the year-round efforts made by people and companies in our industry to succeed in business, through superior customer service, product knowledge and professionalism. Retail Drinks is delighted to be able to run this important annual Awards Program. Each award category recognises the success and hard work of people and companies in our industry, attracting hundreds of entries, generating significant media interest, and acting as a platform to boost the profile of individuals, businesses and partners.

15th August 2023: Awards Finalists Announced
Late August – early September 2023: Finalist Interviews & Judging
4th October 2023: Awards Presentation Dinner
The 2023 Awards Presentation Dinner will be held in conjunction with the Retail Drinks Industry Summit, and FY23 Annual General Meeting.
2023 Award Finalists
Thank you to all retailer members who took the time to nominate in this year’s Awards Program, whether nominating your liquor store/s, your online retail liquor business, or in one of the individual awards categories.
The nomination period for this year’s Retail Drinks Industry Awards closed on 30 June, with mystery shopping for all nominated stores underway. We’re pleased to report that the number of nominations received across all categories grew by a further +8% on last year, to over 440 in total. What’s even more pleasing is that nominations in the individual awards categories, Owner, Manager and Young Liquor Retailer of the Year, saw a significant +54% uplift on last year.
